FODAC Responds to Haiti Earthquake The attached photographs were prepared by Chris Brand, Executive Director of FODAC. An independent nonprofit organization located in Stone Mountain, Georgia, FODAC also serves as the AT refurbishing hub for the regional STAR Network. When a severe earthquake hit Haiti on January 12, 2010, FODAC worked with Portlight Strategies, another nonprofit  with contacts with existing aid organizations working on the ground in Haiti. Together, with the help of volunteers, they assembled shipments of items requested by the aid workers and arranged delivery to the aid stations and shelters in Haiti. These pictures document some of the packing and delivery and show the equipment in use in Haiti. Links You can read more about the two organizations mentioned above at:
